Are we very determined we want to depart in August?
I think we should potentially go next December. Grey season so sunshine would be pretty awesome.
What are your thoughts on this?
I might be embarking on a trip in the next few months and August just feels very close . . .
Also, Kate, Ekid, Zo, and I all turn 30 after Sept. Angela... when do you turn 30?
Ok, I will start researching locations but I am pretty flexible with any of these options.

My friend who lived in Costa Rica for a good year and traveled around the area recommends staying in Pacific Nicaragua (says Granada and the island in Lake Nicaragua is great) and also recommends Santa Teresa, Costa Rica & Bocas del Toro, Panama (archipelago, we could go island hopping the entire time and there are secluded islands as well as party islands! plus she says it's pretty safe and moderately touristy) I'm reading up on Bocas del Toro and leaning towards that destination.

ReplyDeleteOk i am definitely down for a Dec departure too, really whatever makes sense for the money and time spent there. Let's just hope (and research) if the weather is nice in Dec too. it will probably just not be AS hot and humid.
ALSO, are you guys ok with me inviting Lily along for the ride? she probably will be doing her own thing, but i think she would be fun to tag along. only if it's ok with you ladies though!
why would she come along for the ride and then just do her own thing? she should just hang out, she can show us the ropes and share wise and magical tales about what it's like when you become thirty *___* ::child eyes waiting for bedtime story::

DeleteI would prefer an August date, because my work is really busy in December. Do we have exact dates that E-kid is off school in August?
